Men’s Breakfast

“The church needs real men today – men willing to follow the path of godliness, no matter what the cost. Will we, by the grace and power of God, be those men?. Will we take up the challenge? R. Kent Hughes (Disciplines of a Godly Man)

The men meet once a month on a Saturday morning from 7:30 to 9:00am for breakfast and a study of God’s word that is relevant to men in the 21^st century. The study focuses on what it means to be a Godly man at home, at church and at work. Our desire is that through the ministry of the Spirit of God men will grow in their love of God and will seriously consider their responsibilities as outlined in Scripture.

Men’s Hockey

Every Saturday night from October through March the men (age 14 and up) have the opportunity to participate in the Kawartha Baptist Hockey League for a time of fun, fellowship and exercise.

Small Groups

Small groups are a tremendous way to get connected at PPBC. This ministry is designed to assist you in your spiritual journey and help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. In a small group, you will develop significant relationships with others who can encourage you and challenge you to consistently apply the truths of God’s Word to each area of your life. We also have a group for the young adults (college and career age) that meets weekly during the year.

Each small group meets in a home, either weekly or bi-weekly, from September through May and is led by a trained small group leader. Groups normally meet in the evening for an hour and half to two hours and participate in discussion of the group study, prayer and an informal time of relationship building. Group members are encouraged to prepare for the discussion in advance and to commit to pray for one another.

College & Career

The College & Career group meets once a week for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. (Tuesday evenings @ 7pm - Call the church for location details)
